Install games on Lutris fails: TypeError('expected str, bytes or os.PathLike object, not NoneType')

Hello,

I posted this on the Lutris forum, but just in case this is a system issue, here it is. I’m not sure exactly what this error is about since it crops up on several search results for different things.

For every game I’ve tried to install, I see this message after the files have been downloaded: TypeError('expected str, bytes or os.PathLike object, not NoneType').

I created a new EXT4 partition on my SSD only for Lutris.
I also rebooted the machine after Lutris installation.

It looks like this may have been a Wine issue. I uninstalled wine and then just installed the dependencies that may be required by Lutris according to this page: docs/WineDependencies.md at master · lutris/docs · GitHub
