I was asking a Gnome related question, therefor I placed it in the Gnome thread.

The title of a topic must correspond to the subject matter – whatever the subject of the topic is.

Your title was initially virtually identical to the (now edited) title – and that title infers that the topic is about outdated information on a Wiki page – in the content of the first post was also a link to a similar topic about the same Wiki page being outdated.

The thread was therefore moved to the Feedback category.

The GNOME related question should have been asked in a separate Support thread, with a title that clearly indicated what the support thread was concerning.

As mentioned (above) the thread was moved to Feedback for the reasons already given.
