Yes, I know that it’s not currently being considered. But, I’d ask and implore you to reconsider. Monero is one of the best freedom tools we have, along with TOR and other open-source, privacy-first initiatives. Privacy is not a crime guys. I am a believer.
Did you consider finding a friend willing to accept Monero from you and donating the equivalent sum in fiat currency by already implemented means? And I do mean friend, because a certain level of trust is required, but it’s not impossible to imagine such an arrangement.
