My point of this post is that i am currently running i3wm and kde and if i want to remove kde I know there are a lot of dependencies. Can someone help me give a comprehensive way to remove if I want to in the near future?? 
and also can someone help setup a screenshot shortcut for i3 config ??
backup up data - reinstall using i3
read the i3 config to see how it works - it may even exist 
setup a script to use scrot - or install flameshot and create a shortcut for it
