I would like to use Davinci Resolve but I always get a message about GPU drivers

Hi all, I would like to find a solution for my Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Mobile / Max-Q graphics card on Manjaro Linux.

The drawback I have is the correct driver for my graphics card, I have tried to install with the command.

sudo mhwd -r pci video-nvidia

However it installs a generic driver and I lose the screen, when I try with an external screen I find the driver previously installed.

But at the same time I lose the driver that the graphic card does not use.

I have tried what is recommended by the official Manjaro website

But since it doesn’t work every time I have to reformat it.

I would like to use Davinci Resolv but I always get this message

Please review the GPU drivers and GPU
configuration under preferences.

the command you used: sudo mhwd -r pci video-nvidia is for removing the nvidia driver - see the ‘r’ in it…
provide outptu from:
inxi -Fazy
mhwd -l && mhwd -li

If you haven’t checked it yet, maybe the DaVinci Resolve section of the Arch Wiki might help: DaVinci Resolve - ArchWiki

Make sure that your GPU is available in the settings, and that “CUDA” selected not openCL in DaVinci Resolve:
