I have read several posts about getting a printer setup but I don’t understand a lot of the terminology about urls and ipps.

I would probably just use IPP everywhere. https://www.pwg.org/printers/ I dont know what environment you are using or if you want a printer manager utility or … But essentially if you just get the IP address from the printer … often from something like ‘verify lan settings’ on the printer … then you can just add that IP. Problem is that your printer is not listed at IPP Everywhere™ Printers - Printer Working Group so it is probably not supported by IPP Everywhere.

The AUR approach above is likely the ‘easiest’.
