I had trouble installing the argostranslategui translation software but it didn’t work, I used this command
pip3 install argostranslategui
I got this message
screenshots removed
I did a search and found this solution in this forum
the solved
I tried the solution but it created this issue
screenshots removed
I have deleted the files mentioned in the existing path and the issue in the first screenshot has returned.
How can I install the app and is there a better one you can recommend?
It’s in the AUR - AUR (en) - argos-translate
Or do what the message tells you and use pipx
to install it in a virtual environment.

I forgot to mention that I tried to install
sudo pacman -S python-xyz
but I ran into the same issue.
@dsl Please paste terminal output here using proper formatting , not screenshots of text.
So is argos-translate-gui
that he’s trying to install.
@dsl See Arch User Repository - Manjaro for more info.

No one here is your “bro”. This is a technical support forum, not a social network or instant messenger. Slang and invented abbreviations are not welcome here. Using proper communication shows respect toward the helpful volunteers that are attempting to help you.

…i tried…
There is no try, only do.
So far, it seems you only want to copy and paste random commands you found somewhere without even understanding what they do.
We’re at an impasse here until you actually spend the time to follow instructions you’ve been given and learn about what you’re doing.
I don’t know and that has absolutely nothing to do with this topic.

What is a DVI file?

Pose the question to a search engine and you shall find many good explanations.
xdvi
is a very old viewer program for such files - but of course it still does the job - it is part of the Xorg suite
ls -hl /usr/bin/xdvi
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3.0K Mar 13 15:11 /usr/bin/xdvi
no point in removing it - look at the massive size of it
It will be back with the next update anyway.
re screenshots:
describe your issue - use words
