I can't boot onto the live iso (Asus TUF A16 Advantage)

So I’ve been kinda wanting to make the switch to Linux and so far I haven’t found my distro. I want to try to dualboot Manjaro, but every single time I try to boot into the live iso, it just… doesn’t boot. It just goes through something, shows the Manjaro logo, and then just stays in a black screen for the rest of time. Does anyone know how to fix this?
NOTE: My laptop is an Asus TUF A16 Advantage Edition, if anyone is interested. I also run Windows 11.

Hello @ItzLeoMC and welcome to the Manjaro Community! :vulcan_salute:

A couple of things to check:

  • Is Fast Startup disabled in Windows?:
** Issue powercfg /h off in a Windows Elevated Command Prompt.
  • Is Secure Boot turned OFF in your motherboard’s UEFI settings?

Hope this helps.

There might be some issues as shown in this example: Problems installing KaOS on (FA617NS) Asus TUF Gaming A16 2023 Edition Laptop - KaOS. Our ISOs ship with a much newer kernel 6.12 in that case.

Here some potential issues with that device from Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/AMDLaptops/comments/159mj6i/anyone_have_experience_with_asus_tuf_gaming_a16/
