These past few days I’ve been trying to figure out how to fix the screen tearing when moving applications around that occurs when I’m playing a video on a browser. I’ve tried different browsers such as Firefox, Brave, Chrome and the issue still persists. I also have forced composition pipeline on and the issue still persists. The only thing that fixes the issue is if I close the tab that includes the video or I simply go to another tab that hides the video player. I’ve also tried changing layers.acceleration.force-enabled to true in the about:config of firefox and the issue still persists. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this I’d greatly appreciate I’m a new user to Linux and this issue has refrained me from using Linux these past few days.
