Hp scanner driver storage on disk

I have a HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M180nw. Every time Manjaro updates the program “HP Device Manager” and I then try to scan, the scanner driver must be replaced. It will find it on the internet, or if I know where to look, on my hard drive. Where do I look for it on my hard drive?

Thank you

/var/cache/pacman/pkg/

What is it called?

I see these files:

/var/cache/pacman/pkg/hplip-1:3.21.12-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
/var/cache/pacman/pkg/hplip-1:3.22.2-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
/var/cache/pacman/pkg/hplip-1:3.22.2-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
/var/cache/pacman/pkg/hplip-1:3.22.4-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

Yes. You have pamac set to cache the four (4) most recent versions.

So if I tell hplip to look for the most recent version on my drive, it should work?

Those files are executable. If you want to reinstall you can navigate to the location and execute from there or in pamac choose reinstall (pamac (GUI) will only show latest version) etc etc…

Thank you
