Don’t know what to do next.

Are you certain you need to install these drivers from the AUR?

I have installed only this without any AUR stuff. I think this should do already.

What do you mean by the “print” command - is this from the command line? Have you tried printing from multiple apps?

Do you have hplip installed (sudo -Syu hplip)?

Only some printers need the hplip-plugin (this is a separate package from hplip); there is a list here of printers which require the extra package:

https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/binary_plugin.html

It looks like you have a HP LaserJet 2300d and since I don’’t see it on the list, you probably don’e need the plugin.

I’m a bit confused by

zsh: command not found: manjaro-printer

manjaro-printer is a meta-package which pulls in multiple packages required for printing - it is not a command.

Problem solved by going into CUPS settings, deselecting “Allow all users except:” (there were no exceptions) and selecting “Allow only this user:” (or some such wording) and added my computer user name in the “location” column. Printer now works like it should.
