How would i get OBS background removal to use ROCm for hardware acceleration?

So i have the plugin with my OBS. On https://github.com/royshil/obs-backgroundremoval/releases/tag/1.3.3 it reads something about cmake and onnx.

Manjaro repos have many packages for rocm. I just don’t know what rocm packages i need to install to get the background removal working with hardware acceleration.

Is there maybe someone who has knowledge for this?

When going by the name and also the git repo name I’d guess it can only be one of these two:

AUR (en) - Packages

(link takes you to the already performed search)

This is the AUR though - not the normal repos.

I don’t know anything about the software
but how the AUR is supposed to be used is explained in many places.

Whoops i might have explained myself quite poorly there. I know how to install the OBS background removal plugin, but id need rocm packages that are in the Manjaro repos, just don’t know what of those should i install for rocm to show as an option in OBS background removal.

I have no experience with obs-studio - but taking a
Look at the AUR page and package dependencies.

Besides the expected obs-studio - I see

  • onxruntime
  • opencv

Open pamac and use the names as filter - then check their descriptions - look at the link provided to upstream - research which one you need - sync the package and check if the plugin is available.
