How to use the thumb button and thumb wheel of mouse?

I am trying a Logitech MX Master 2S mouse with thumb button and thumb wheel, but after I connected the mouse, I cannot use its thumb button and thumb wheel.

I tried to use solaar but all the options are locked.

As stated there

So you should be able to click on the lock sign to unlock it, and make the change when the device is connected via USB.
