How to update the theme for Manjaro i3?

I’ve used lxappearance and qt5ct for changing my theme. However, that only works for very few applications/windows. For example, my changes do not affect pamac, pavucontrol nor arandr. How can I change theme for all applications? Should I use xfce4-settings, despite being on the i3 version?

I believe I found the answer. I can simply set the environment variable for GTK_THEME.

For example:
export GTK_THEME=Adapta-Maia:light

or, add GTK_THEME=Adwaita:light to /etc/environment.
