Hi, absolute GNOME newbie here on a fresh first time install. I’m using the Traditional layout and would like to remove the far left “Show Applications” icon and move the ArcMenu icon to the LHS to takes its place. I presume this would happen automatically if I can disable “Show Applications”. Where would I find the option to remove it?
try this to hide show applications from dash to dock:
gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock show-show-apps-button false
In Dash to Panel settings at the bottom of the Position tab.
Dash to Panel is used in the Traditional layout, not Dash to Dock.
