How to read an external system.journal ( from another install HDD )

How can I read the /var/ log/ journal/ system.journal from another HDD ( non fully bootable installation )?
( Besides chroot to it … )

You can use the -D option.

journalctl -D /path/to/log/journal/feda550844a0496ef304e86ffbc11218

You can also add all the options you like to filter.
