How to prevent overcharging the battery? (STOP_CHARGE_THRESH_BAT0)

hi & have a good day
I need to use TLP to use the STOP_CHARGE_THRESH_BAT option.
But when my device uses TLP, the default manjaro power manager is abandoned and my device is very hot and the fan is always on!
Is there a way to use STOP_CHARGE_THRESH_BAT without TLP?
Is it possible to use TLP and Manjaro’s default power manager at the same time?

** The only reason I use TLP is to avoid overcharging because my laptop is always plugged in.*
My device has ideapad_laptop driver

Hi @a6olf42l,

See

https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/5724/battery-health-charging/

Found VIA: Battery charging limit / threshold for Gnome - Gnome - EndeavourOS

Not all lenovo devices suport the such threshold.

Over the years this has been an ever returning subject and target for many posts around the internet

look here
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Laptop/Lenovo#Battery_conservation_mode
There are 3-4 aur packages that automate that, i use conservation_mode
