How to install FreeCAD on Manjaro

It doesn’t appear to be available in the repo’s. How do I install it?

Open pamac (add/remove software) and enable the AUR in the settings. If you search for freecad now you will find it in the AUR.

I tried installing it through pacman but it doesn’t seem to support AUR packages.

Pacman does not support the AUR. Use the command

pamac build AURpackagenameHere

Enable Snap

sudo pacman -S snapd
sudo systemctl enable --now snapd.socket

And go to Install freecad for Linux using the Snap Store | Snapcraft and click Install.
