DBP (David’s Batch Processor) is a simple batch processing plugin for the Gimp, it allows the user to automatically perform operations (such as resize) on a collection of image files.I have been using that plugin for years in Ubuntu and Linux Mint. Now I failed to install it for my (Manjaro) GIMP .
In https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimpdbpplugin/ I found a file
for download I tried the installation instruction from https://praxistipps.chip.de/gimp-plugins-installieren-so-gehts_32643. It does not work!
One reason might be, that the .rpm format is the wrong package format for Manjaro. Anyway that leads to the questions
(1) how to install a GIMP plugin in Manjaro?
(2) what is the required format of the file to be installed as plugin?
Both the Manjaro wiki and in the Arch wiki are silent on my questions. Would be great if someone could share his experience!
