I accidentally removed one of my application launcher widgets from the taskbar, and while I know it’s still present somewhere on the desktop, I am unable to find it anywhere graphically. I thought the quickest way to resolve this would be to search the plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc file for all instances of the application launcher and delete them, what would the application launcher widget be called in this file?
There could be many of them in there, depending on which one you use. An easier way would be to either…
- temporarily move your panel to another screen edge; or…
- temporarily set the panel to auto-hide.
I already tried moving my panels to the screen edge and was unable to find the widget. The one I’m looking for specifically is this one:
