How can I enable wayland ? couldn’t find any tutorial on it. I’m trying to solve a screen tearing problem and want to see if wayland will solve it.

Install plasma-wayland-session. After that you should be able chose Wayland in SDDM

can you please give me the command line to install it through the terminal ? I’m a little bit new to this.

is it sudo install plasma-wayland-session ?

It should be sudo pacman -S plasma-wayland-session

I used the software manager to install it. but couldn’t find it in SDDM.

you can find it in the login screen, for me its in the left bottom corner.

can’t find it

no before you login…that screen

Not here. You must log out or reboot – after that you see option in the left bottom corner

Oh my bad. :joy:
