How to disable taskbar on a screen? Manjaro Linux GNOME

Hi!

I use OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) to record videos and I have 2 screens.

On my second screen the task bar is glitched when recording videos.

I can’t see it on my screen, but in the recording it is there.

And if I hover my mouse and click in that place (while not visible on the actual screen) it executes the app that I clicked on that was in that place.

Is there a way to disable the taskbar on a certain screen / monitor?

Or did I do something wrong when installing it? (I use Flatpak because the open from the Manjaro Repo is not working for me)

P.S. Keep in mind that I am a total noob, and please don’t assume I know stuff because odds are I don’t

I don’t think that is an option with Gnome.

Either change layout or dive into the options.

The golden rule is - search before you ask - provide information about your own efforts to find a solution.

  • Where did you search in the system settings?
  • What did you try before you asked?

You may be able to auto-hide your taskbar; which will no doubt affect all screens; however, at least it might then he hidden for the duration of your recording.

Thank you!
