How to access GRUB with LUKS full disk encryption and hidden menu option enabled?

Pressing (and holding) shift at boot time does not work for me. I always see only the prompt to decrypt the LUKS encryption. Is it even possible with LUKS full disk encryption to have the GRUB menu option set to hidden and still be able to access GRUB when needed?

Try hitting Esc right after entering your LUKS password, maybe? :man_shrugging:

I feel totally stupid. :upside_down_face: I have always tried with shift. But with esc it actually works. Thank you very much for your help!

SHIFT on BIOS-Systems, ESC on UEFI-Systems.
