i’m trying to use Hyper as my terminal instead of the default GNOME terminal as default (ctrl+alt+t and Open in Terminal option) but i’m still new to Arch/Manjaro so I’m wondering how I do it please help
@shadowsamurai Normally you can set this in the settings of gnome. The should be menu to change hotkeys and a menu where you can change default applications.
the menu is there, but hyper isn’t appearing in the list only Terminal XTerms and UXTerm
In Keyboard > Add custom shortcut > Give name as Hyper
and command as hyper
.
Under Keyboard bindings , add Ctrl + Alt + t .
It may ask if the old combination for gnome-terminal
can be removed or not. Click OK or Yes.
