Host Machine internet connection from VirtualBox guest VM

Is there anyway to have my Host machine get internet exclusively from a windows VBox guest VM? I recall Parallels allowing that at some point a few years ago but I’d like to do it with VirtualBox. So to clarify… I’m running linux (Manjaro KDE) as the HOST, with Windows 11 as a VirtualBox VM. I want to use NordVPN GUI (Not available for Linux) on the windows machine, to provide internet connectivity to the Linux Host.

… just to have a GUI vs. the command line to use the VPN?

Have used the commandline for years. Just monkeying around to see if I can get it to work. Could have other more practical uses as well. But Yes… that’s what’s driving my curiosity at the moment.

The network adapter can be passed to the VM - as well as other devices.
Then, the VM would have “native” Network - but the Host would have none.
Can that then be reversed?
That is likely what you want to find out.
I don’t think so - but I don’t know.
plus: the VM would need to be running all the time

Would it not be easier to code some zenity interface for the Linux command line tool?

I’ll be watching

Hmmm… Yeah, Zenity, not what I’m wanting to do. :slightly_smiling_face: :upside_down_face:
