Hide Desktop Icons

Hi guys,

So, here’s a feature I am missing from Windows, that I don’t know how to enable in KDE Plasma Desktop,
as the Title says, How do I do it?

Hello,
Right click the desktop and go to Configure Desktop.
You have two ways to do it:

  • switch from Folder view to Desktop in the Layout option
  • keep it as Folder view and make it to “show” a folder that you keep empty from the Location tab, or simply remove/move elsewhere the files and folders you have on Desktop Folder.

actually, this works, but I am looking for the feature just to hide whatever is on the Desktop.

Like in Windows, when we right-click, there is an option to show or hide icons.

Make a feature request to KDE Plasma team.
