After trying around for a while I found the program that was the issue. I was running “onedriver” to acces files from before I switched to linux that are still on OneDrive(I plan to migrate away from onedrive at somepoint but have been busy lately).
Some more detail for anyone interessted, although it does just seem to be a problem in some third-party software
I turns out that, at least on my device, onedriver doesn’t freeze for hibernation if it is set to launch at login and has been on since. This does not happen when there is just an active drive, only if the drive is set to start at login and it has been continously running since. Therefore the fix for me, only wanting to acces onedrive sometimes, has been to turn of the option to start at login and report the issue to the onedriver project.
