When I search for it in settings, it shows but disappears afterwards.

Do this:

Because I’m terribly sorry, but I have to be off now.

It’s in the AUR yes:

$ pamac search rtlwifi                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       1 ↵
rtw88-dkms-git r1.029812e-2 AUR

Rebooted. No luck.
I’m going to do a clean reinstall and see if I have any luck with that.
Thanks everyone. I appreciate it.
Will revert when I’m able to do that.

i think the problem is that the driver for that usb dongle is not updated to kernel 5.15. i also have same usb dongle wifi (Realtek RTL8188FTV) which is also bugged.

Edit:
Somehow i have successfully fixed my wifi, the problem is when you install the driver from AUR your system still use the old wifi driver in my case (and also probably your based the output you gave earlier) is still using the “r8188eu”.

what i did is to remove and blacklist that r8188eu using modprobe

modprobe -r r8188eu

and adding configuration file in /etc/modprobe.d/r8188eu.conf

blacklist r8188eu

proceed to install this driver from AUR (dont forget to install your linux header dkms first)

https://github.com/kelebek333/rtl8188fu

and then restart,

i noticed now my wifi could find and connect to access point

hope it work

Hi. I’m also having these problems. i’m trying these fixes but no luck.
