After recent update any 3.5 mm device (either headset or headphones) plays only in left channel.
What I did:
- Checked it is not HW problem:
- tried booting in Windows - two channels work as expected
- tried booting in latest Manjaro LIVE - two channels work as expected
- tried different devices (headset with microphone, headphones without microphone) - everywhere only left channel works
- Tried ‘easy win’ solutions:
- switched kernels (6.1 LTS, 6.2, 6.3) - everywhere only left channel works
- switched to wireplumber - not helped
- tried tweaking settings in pavucontrol. Here it gots interesting - seems, right channel plays, but extremely quiet. If I set Left channel to 14% and Right channel to 153%, the sound is back to stereo, but too low. Not sure how to fix it.

Probably caused by a firmware update? Please check the log:

Maybe downgrading sof-firmware helps for the time being?
For some reason it returns:

Yeah, it was updated:

I installed pulseaudio-alsa (which removed pipewire-alsa for me, not sure why it was installed and how it all worked before the update), then increased volume for device ‘rt711 DAC Surr’ in alsamixer - now everything works… except microphone on headset 
The same trick - raising all capture devices’ - did not work (
