HDMI macht Probleme bei Ton und Bild

Hallo!

Ich habe ein älteres Notebook ( HP Pavilion G7, 4 GB ), von Win 7 auf Manjaro, umgestellt und möchte nun, Zoomkonferenzen,über einen Fernseher sehen. Dies funktioniert auch mit anderen Laptops gut.

Dafür habe ich das Notebook über ein HDMI-Kabel angeschlossen.
Dies funktioniert auch gut mit einem anderen Laptop.

Doch nun habe ich folgende Probleme :

  1. Ich habe keinen Ton.
  2. Das Bild ( trotz Vollbild ) nicht voll angezeigt wird. stattdessen wird der Hintergrund mit einem seltsamen Muster aufgefüllt.

Kann es vielleicht sein, dass deine HDMI Ausgabe eine höhere Auflösung hat und du den Bildschirm spiegelst und nicht erweiterst?

LVDS → 1600x900
HDMI → 1920x1080

Jedenfalls, stell bei beiden Monitoren die selbe Auflösung ein und es sollte funktionieren.

Der Bildschirm ( Samsung 50" ) kann zwar 4K wurde aber automatisch auf 1600 x 900 eingestellt nachdem ich ( Im Programm " Anzeige " ) bei " Bildschirme spiegeln " einen Haken gesetzt und unter " Erweitert => Bildschirme verbinden " folgende Änderung vornahm.

Bei " Wenn neue Bildschirme angeschlossen werden " habe ich nun " Erweitern ".

Ich ging immer davon aus das das Signal auf HD hochgerechnet wird - da lag ich wohl falsch.

Jetzt muß nur noch der Ton wieder kommen.
Woran kann es wohl liegen?

Wenn ich es richtig sehe dann verwende ich PulseAudio, doch finde ich keine Möglichkeit den Ton wiederzubekommen. Kann es ein Treiberproblem sein oder tritt so etwas öfter auf ?

Wer hat noch Ideen woran es liegen könnte.

So nun mal etwas genauer :

Ich habe wohl kein Pulseaudio sondern Pipewire im Einsatz. Tut mir leid das ich hier Mist erzählt habe.

Laut dem Pamac sind bei mir folgende Pakete installiert:

pipewire-pulse

pipewire-jack
wireplumber

Von Pulseaudio ist nichts installiert, ausser pipewire-pulse.

Da ich nicht weiß inwieweit diese Lösung auf mich zutrifft, habe ich nur mal die dortigen Abfragen übernommen - vielleicht helfen sie ja das Problem einzugrenzen.

Wenn ihr noch etwas braucht dann sagt es.

Nach vielem suchen habe ich endlich die Lösung für das Tonproblem gefunden.

Ich ging auf das Lautstärkesymbol, dort auf Tonmischer => Konfiguration und habe dort ein HDMI-Profil ausgewählt. Schon hatte ich den gewünschten Ton.

Nicht Plug and Play aber es funktioniert.

Hier scheint es noch Konfigurationsbedarf zu geben - damit so etwas out of the Box klappt. Doch nun kann ich diesen Part endlich abschließen.
