HDD not shown in fdisk nor gparted

Hi !
I’m doing some cleanup and have found an old Seagate HDD that won’t show up in fdisk nor gparted.
I can see it in the disks gui (screenshot) but i can’t interact with it.

# fdisk -l

Do you guys have any idea of something I could try to fix this, or have I gained a paperweight ?

Best,

I think your SABRENT sata to usb 3.0 adapter is not able to power the external disk. If you have another adapter or other way to provide power to the disk it could still be possible to access the disk.

That looks very plausible to me @Wollie, thanks ! I’ll be able to get my hand on one powered sata to usb adapter next week i’ll check if that fixes it.
