Frankly I’m a little bit nervous to try downgrading the driver as I already tried that once and ended up somehow breaking everything (including timeshift) to the point where I had to manually repair the system from a live usb. Part of the problem is that a symptom of this driver issue is that TTY is also not working, which means if Manjaro fails to load I basically have to repair it from a live usb. I’ll try it again if that’s the best chance I have of fixing this issue, but I want to make sure I’m doing it right. I read through this thread and it looked like the recommendation was to run sudo manjaro-downgrade nvidia, select the package I want (which in my case would be 575.64.05) and after running that I should sudo mkinitcpio -P then sudo update-grub and reboot.
My understanding however was that this utility did not include dependencies in the downgrade process, so wouldn’t there be other packages I would also need to downgrade?
