Guest disconnects when host VPN connects/disconnect

Hello,

I use expressvpn on my manjaro host. When it connects or disconnects, open guest machines disconnect from network. Any way around this?

Impossible to say - it would be a complete guesswork - but generally speaking - look at the network setup for your virtual machine.

An there is no one-answer-to-rule-them-all - you are the system admin …

But it’s possible that it’s related to routing…

Starting or stopping a VPN changes routing tables on the host. There is no simple solution, try internet search for “virtualbox vpn” if you’re using virtualbox.
