This is likely not the same issue as that which you referenced.
Rebooting is usually recommended after performing an update, especially if system packages were a part of that update; otherwise, rebooting your machine is not a magical cure to solve all issues.
More detail will be needed in order for anyone to help.
For a start, please provide the expected system information as described (below); edit your previous (first) post to include the inxi output. Don’t forget to place it within a pre-formatted text box (see link also below).
From that point, others may be able to offer suggestions.
