GSConnect can't connect to KDE Connect

I have my computer connected (via ethernet cable) and my phone (via WIFI) to the same router but I can’t get it to work.

I have done:

sudo ufw allow 1714:1764/udp
sudo ufw allow 1714:1764/tcp
sudo ufw reload

but then noticed an issue with touchegg

So I made sure to systemctl enable --now touchegg That seemed to have been fixed but I generated a support log and noticed some missing libraries so I did sudo pacman-mirrors -f5 && sudo pacman -Syyu libvoikko hspell nuspell hunspell aspell

But it still doesn’t see any devices. I am now stuck.

That seems to be an error if you install KDEConnect from F-Droid and not from the AppStore

Nope. Doesn’t work.

Will boot into my Gnome install and check, but i run unstable branch … What happens if you disable UFW for a while?

Update:
No issue regardless the direction i request the pairing - from phone to PC or from PC to the phone. UFW not running on my end as i don’t need it, this machine is not leaving the house.

Disabling the firewall does nothing. The issue persists.
