I’m not sure if you already answered this, but just a question. If in the UEFI (or BIOS) menu you give priority to the boot entry named “Manjaro”, does it work? What about if you choose the one called “rEFInd Boot Manager”
Your post has been moved to a dedicated topic.
Feel free to change the title if you wish.
Some clarification.
- GRUB and rEFInd are two separate boot managers.
If only GRUB is installed, then GRUB is needed to boot Manjaro.
However, if multi-booting (say, Windows and Manjaro), some like to install rEFInd as well to more effectively handle booting of different OSes; I have personally used rEFInd for this purpose for many years.
If you have rEFInd installed, and you are multi-booting, then it should be the default UEFI boot loader for your system.
So, yes… choose “rEFInd Boot Manager” as your default boot loader (set it as first in boot order in your UEFI BIOS).
