Graphical glitch in KDE Konsole under Wayland since update to Frameworks 6.10

Since the update to KDE Frameworks 6.10, I get a thin vertical gray line in the middle of the Konsole window which sometimes appears and disappears with each keystroke and sometimes stays until text covers that part of the window. Once text covers that part of the window, the gray line doesn’t come back in that tab. Opening a new tab makes it happen again. The gray line appears at the left edge of the small popup that shows the size of the window in columns and rows. I’ve tried taking screenshots and screen recordings, and it doesn’t show the glitch. I can reproduce this on kernels 6.12 and 6.6. The glitch happens on Wayland but not X11. I believe it is a bug with Frameworks 6.10 but don’t know where to report it on the KDE bug tracker.

Edit: Updated the post to contain inxi information from a Wayland session, as I was in X11 when I made the post originally.

I have seen that with fractional scaling, so - If you are using a fractional scale - try using 1 or 2 instead.

I just tried scales of 1 and 2. The glitch was gone. With a scale of 1, everything is too small. With 2, everything is much too large. Even if the bug is related to fractional scaling, it is a regression because I didn’t have the problem in Frameworks 6.9 or earlier versions.

I would try a scale factor of 1,2.
If it’s not optimal, try 1,28.

Just to be clear, I don’t want a workaround. I want to know under which component to report this bug to KDE. Fractional scaling at 125% should work without glitches, as it did in Frameworks 6.9 and earlier.

I notice a similar glitch that is relegated to the far left hand side of Konsole and appears as almost unnoticeable white dots … maybe a single pixel or so, and sometimes 1 or 2 or 3. They also seem to move, appear/re-appear with line outputs.
A little odd, but it only bothers me if I focus on it.
It may be worth noting that this is not new - its been going on for a (undetermined) while.
Not very helpful but thats my contribution.

As it only happens in konsole that would probably be where I’d begin a report.

I tried @Wollie’s suggestion and changed my scaling to 120%. The glitch stopped happening. Some screen elements were slightly too small for my eyes, so I changed it back to 125%. The glitch didn’t come back. I still argue that it’s a bug because konsole shouldn’t have graphical artifacts. I’m happy that things are working correctly again for me now.

By the way, 128% is not an option.
