Yeah so I just switched from Manjaro XFCE to KDE Plasma, and when I downloaded minecraft my frames went from 120 (On XFCE) to barley getting 20, (KDE Plasma) when I hit F3 I couldn’t see my graphics card, and that’s when I realized that minecraft is using my CPU as a graphics card and not my actual graphics card, any help will be appreciated
since KDE have a lot of desktop effects, i guess there is the problem rooted. Try to disable all effects somewhere in the settings (i dont use KDE, but XFCE, so cant say where exactly).
Hope that helps.
yeah thank you I went on Hardware instal Invidia Drivers and restarted my computure, thank you for the help
