Gnupg-configuration invalid

Kleopatras self test suddenly had an error after updating my packages. It says the configuration for GnuPG-Settings for gpg is invalid.

Output for gpgconf --checkoptions gpg:

gpg:OpenPGP:/usr/bin/gpg:1:1:

I’m also seeing this error since a few days. After some fiddling around I solved it by creating a empty gpg.conf file:

touch ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf
