GNOME wifi AP keep easking for password (works on android smartphones)

Hello forum, I am using a wifi hotspot on my Desktop and everything worked until a few months ago.

I am (still) able to connect to the access point (AP) using a android phone (google pixel3),
but with any other device (apple devices, or linux computers) the network manager keeps asking me the password (I am typing the correct one).

Following are some information on the system (in which the AP is setup):

  • Manjaro Qonos 21.2.6
  • Gnome 41.5

Regarding the network adapters in the host computer:

> inxi -n
Device-1: Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 driver: iwlwifi
Device-2: Qualcomm Atheros Killer E2500 Gigabit Ethernet driver: alx

I can also tell you that my android phone, when connected to AP identifies the network as having
WPA/WPA2-Personal security.
When I try to connect using my laptop with Arch linux (with GNOME 42), the security of the AP network is automatically detected as WPA3.
Nevertheless, changing the wifi connection security settings to WPA/WPA2-Personal (in the laptop) did not solve the problem.
Notice that until about 3 months ago the laptop was able to connect to the AP.

It would be great if somebody could help.

cheers,
