Gnome toolbar and menu text disappears

This is a strange and not something I can reproduce other than to say it has happened more than a few times. Periodically the text on the top toolbar and menus will disappear. Things work and I can get it to reappear if I go into Tweaks and change the font hinting. Doesn’t seem to matter what I change the hinting to, as long as it changes the text will reappear. I have not seen this on my other machines, so probably something local but thought I would ask.

More curious than anything. Am I alone in this?

Thanks.

Also not sure if I ran the right inxi config to be helpful.
