Hi,
Gnome Sound Recorder 40.0-1 does not work. The mic is detected and works fine.

Define “does not work”. It works for me.

It works here also… latest Gnome unstable

The generated file (flac, mp3, vorbis) is empty, with no audible sound!
I use XFCE

You must export the recordings to eg music to see them.

I selected “show All Streams” in audio mixer and then record from…
