Gnome Menu hidden behind applications - multiple monitors

Hello Guys!

I’ve just switched from KDE to Gnome and facing this issue.
I have to monitors, one inbuilt in my laptop and external LG. Default one is my laptop’s screen, however when I open the app menu, everything is displayed on the external one. I don’t know how to change it. Also, when some applications are displayed on the external monitor, when I open the menu, all the applications and workspace sidebar is hidden behind the applications miniatures (photo attached).

Can somebody help me?

I’m also experiencing this. Everything works as expected when using a single display, but once I switch to “Join Displays” to my external monitor, I get this behaviour.

  • Primary Display: Built-in LED monitor
  • Second Display: NVidia RTX 2060 connecting via HDMI to a Samsung display
  • Gnome: 3.36.6
  • Active Extensions: AppIndicator, Pamac Updates Indicator, windowNavigator

Would anyone have a solution. My only option to get this to work is to use a different display layout
