anyone knows how to get rid of the infinite 3 dots during the first boot of this upgrade? I saw one applied force close then restart, does this work for anyone else?

Or you can do as I did:
Completely purge Plymouth from your PC, thus ensuring you never have to deal with it’s…sh…issues.

Why is this piece of sh…show still in the default install is a mystery to me.
Because it looks pretty and impressive. Me thinks, anyway.
I just added the kms hook, upped my resolution and customized my Grub to make it prettier than the default one, which Manjaro themes anyway.
You know very well I’ve shared that opinion for a long while. Nonetheless, I’ve given it the benefit of the doubt for quite a few months, and no issues have been presented.
Of course, I don’t use Nvidia.
