Gently plasma went oom & Latte animations died!

I use latte for a dock that auto hides and I was satisfied with the animations until yesterday.

I opened the laptop and found that first the gently plasma it’s supposed to be glass-like but instead, it was black pitch black then when I went to check latte it I found a round background which I disabled when I first set up latte but now it’s there and I can’t remove it.

I don’t know what’s the reason of the problem and how to solve it.

Sounds like you compositor dies. You should be able to reenable it in System Settings.

I will need to read about the compositor and learn what happened.
