Hello everyone,
as i connect my Garmin Smartwatch (Garmin Instinct) to my Manjaro System via USB, i have to wait a very very long time until it shows up in dolphin.
When i plug in the usb cable and type
sudo dmesg
this is the output
[ 1783.282198] usb 3-1: new full-speed USB device number 17 using xhci_hcd
[ 1783.653739] usb 3-1: New USB device found, idVendor=091e, idProduct=0003, bcdDevice= 0.01
[ 1783.653743] usb 3-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=0, SerialNumber=0
[ 1783.657541] garmin_gps 3-1:1.0: Garmin GPS usb/tty converter detected
[ 1783.657585] usb 3-1: Garmin GPS usb/tty converter now attached to ttyUSB0
when i use
lsblk
i can see
sda 8:0 0 3,6T 0 disk
└─sda1 8:1 0 3,6T 0 part /media/backup
sdb 8:16 0 1,8T 0 disk
└─sdb1 8:17 0 1,8T 0 part /media/backup_usb
nvme0n1 259:0 0 931,5G 0 disk
├─nvme0n1p1 259:1 0 922,7G 0 part /
└─nvme0n1p2 259:2 0 8,8G 0 part [SWAP]
and using
lsusb
also shows the garmin device
Is there a service or something i can trigger, to get the usb-device mounted earlier to not have to wait like 5 minutes?
Thanks a lot
