Frequent but intermittent and random Logitech "disconnection"

Hello,

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction to troubleshoot this extremely annoying problem. Approximately every 5 to 30 seconds at random intervals, it seems my Logitech mouse and keyboard stop functioning for anywhere between 5 seconds to a minute(sometimes unplugging and plugging in the dongle will correct the issue when they stop working for a long time - but only for a moment. At first I was thinking it had something to do with USB autosuspend after googling, but this problem happens even while I am actively using either the mouse or keyboard. I don’t think its my system freezing because if I am watching a show/ movie/ youtube or playing games I don’t see these interruptions. I have also verified my batteries are not low or dying. This problem persists through reboots as well.

I am a relatively new Linux user - I was using Mint for the past 2 years( never had this issue before) , and switched over to Manjaro a couple months ago to get a deeper dive into Linux and expand my knowledge. That being said I am not sure what logs I can provide to help diagnose - or even where I should begin troubleshooting problems like these - now or in the future. I would love some help in determining what could be causing this.

My system specs are on my profile, but I’ll add them here for brevity.

This ought to be relevant, but since you mention you didn’t have the problem before switching from Mint, it may probably not be it:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Logitech_Unifying_Receiver#Lag_of_the_wireless_device

Maybe look around for other Logitech peripheral documentation…

I installed Solaar and will update if the problem persists or seems to be corrected.

I did have Solaar installed in Mint, but only for the last couple months because it didn’t seem to be necessary, and didn’t add any additional functionality to the mouse/keyboard I had then.

Thanks for the help!
