Yesterday I ran a system update and today I was surprised by a freeze of the Thinkpad. I found out that the Thinkpad and the monitor are no longer compatible when connected via HDMI. I tested both HDMI inputs of the monitor with 2 different cables. As a counter test I connected a MacBook and that works. Thinkpad via HDMI to a FHD monitor or to my UHD TV work. Thinkpad to monitor via USB C to DP cable also works. Cons: I can’t charge the laptop at the same time because I only have one USB C port. In the logs I have found nothing exciting. Do you guys have any ideas?
