For some reason, fonts and some widget sizes as well as web pages in Firefox are huge.
Where should I be looking to fix it?
Surely someone has to know. But there’s not a lot of information to go on.
I don’t even have a Plasma DE handy, so I can’t help much. But what is the scaling set at, just 100%/1x? Maybe a inxi -Ga too.
Looks like a scaling issue. We need your screen resolution, session type, etc. Just follow the advice that @Molski provided above.
Please - screenshots are useless - Plasma defaults to 1.5 scaling if the scrren resolution is 1920x1080 - that is how it is.
So change you scaling using the System Settings → Display and Monitor section.
What have you been smoking, and can we have some of that too? 
My own 27" monitor here has a 1920 x 1080 resolution, and Plasma has never been set at anything other than 100% in all of the time I’ve been running Manjaro. 
nothing - just nothed that a fresh install - or updating your system will - if no scaling is available - it will default to 1.5
Not here it hasn’t.
OK, getting back to this after a long time of not even looking at this PC - it was indeed as simple as a scaling issue. How or why it suddenly changed after an update, I have no idea, but I’ve reset it to 100% and it’s all good now.
I have a 1900*1200 monitor by the way.
