Firefox 136 title bar displaying issue

Since update 03-24-25 I have been having this issue that parts of Firefox 136’s title bar often render off the top edge of the screen. The text of the title bar is properly aligned though. Parts that appear off are the Icon and the window settings button next to it on the left side, and 3 button set on the right for Minimize, Restore, and Maximize. (see picture) Previously I have never encountered this issue before. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I have done some searches and come up empty. I do not even know if this is a Firefox issue, or an issue from something else causing it, however, Firefox is the only application that seems to be affected, all other programs I run seem to display properly. Also it does not appear this way at all times. It seems to happen most often when exiting a full screen video. Double clicking the title bar to unmaximize it returns it to normal, until it happens again some time later. Discussion, suggestions, or troubleshooting welcome.

Hi @RiCK-Man-jaro,

I don’t have any such problems whatsoever.

I suggest trying with a clean profile and seeing if it happens there as well. Run the following to open the profile manager:

firefox --ProfileManager

There you can create a new profile, launch it and test.

Yes, it still happens.

I also found that pressing F11 into full screen mode, and then pressing F11 again to exit full screen mode also causes the title bar displaying issue, if the window is maximized.

In that case, I suspect a Window Decoration problem, can you try with a different Window decoration?

It appears to only happen on the Oxygen window decoration.

Then it seems best if you use another one.

For now I will, but I hope that Oxygen gets fixed, because that one looked best to my eyes. Thank you for your help troubleshooting.

Anecdotal;

Firefox 137.0-1 is currently in all branches.
